I'm an avid American Horror Story viewer. I've watched every season, probably three times. I love the crazy twists, cast, and plot lines.
I was really looking forward to the current season, number 6, My Roanoke Nightmare. The first few episodes I thought to myself:
Yes, it's gonna be another fantastic season.
But, after Chapter 6 aired this past Wednesday, I was beyond disappointed. Instead of continuing with the idea of the lost colony of Roanoke, they decided to turn it into a staged TV show setting, using the actors and those who were involved in the reenactment, placing them all together in the house.
Kathy Bates was FIRED from the "TV show" for trying to live her real day-to-day life as the butcher. Um, what? You can't do AHS without Kathy Bates. It's just not right.
For the second time this season, Evan Peters' character was killed off. OMG, you've got to be kidding me. I realize he was also filming the new X-Men movie at the time season 6 was filming, but c'mon. Couldn't he have been incorporated a little better?
I'm not sure where the show can even go from here? Have they just given up on the fabulous madness that every season so far has been about? Maybe it was just a bad episode.
All I know is, if this season doesn't get a HUGE turn around, I'm not all that interested & it is absolutely my least favorite season of the series. I never thought I could dislike such a marvelous show.
Ryan Murphy, if you're reading this,
Nah but really, step your game up guy! I'd like to see something good come out of this disaster.
