Disappointment in AHS ***Warning: Spoiler Alert

I'm an avid American Horror Story viewer. I've watched every season, probably three times. I love the crazy twists, cast, and plot lines.

I was really looking forward to the current season, number 6, My Roanoke Nightmare. The first few episodes I thought to myself:
Yes, it's gonna be another fantastic season.

But, after Chapter 6 aired this past Wednesday, I was beyond disappointed. Instead of continuing with the idea of the lost colony of Roanoke, they decided to turn it into a staged TV show setting, using the actors and those who were involved in the reenactment, placing them all together in the house.

Kathy Bates was FIRED from the "TV show" for trying to live her real day-to-day life as the butcher. Um, what? You can't do AHS without Kathy Bates. It's just not right.

For the second time this season, Evan Peters' character was killed off. OMG, you've got to be kidding me. I realize he was also filming the new X-Men movie at the time season 6 was filming, but c'mon. Couldn't he have been incorporated a little better?

I'm not sure where the show can even go from here? Have they just given up on the fabulous madness that every season so far has been about? Maybe it was just a bad episode.

All I know is, if this season doesn't get a HUGE turn around, I'm not all that interested & it is absolutely my least favorite season of the series. I never thought I could dislike such a marvelous show.

Ryan Murphy, if you're reading this,

Nah but really, step your game up guy! I'd like to see something good come out of this disaster.

With Halloween right around the corner, we gotta get our decorating skills on. Being one of my favorite holidays, I love all of the cool things you can do to spice up your house or yard!

Pumpkins.
Everyone has to have pumpkins. Don't wanna deal with the carving mess? Me either. So I thought I should find some sort of improvisation. Quick and easy, the emoji pumpkin is super fun!

Cute, right? Choose your favorite and get to crafting!
The only materials you'll need:
  • Scissors
  • Paintbrush
  • Pumpkin
  • Yellow spray paint
  • White cardstock

Find a step-by-step tutorial here :)

You can find different routes to take to achieve this super sweet pumpkin. You can even get printable faces to make your job even easier. I thought this was a really awesome idea and hope you enjoy! Happy almost Halloween!

I Tried the Nail Tape Trick

Pinterest says you can complete the cutest nail projects just using some clear tape. I figured that's easy enough, and I should try it.
I was going for something like this.

Turns out, it was way more difficult than it looks & sounds. I need my own personal nail artist.

After multiple attempts, colors, removals, and pieces of clear tape, I finally said 'Eff it' and settled for just a few simple lines.

Oh well. I tried.
Does anyone have a better technique for this? I'd like to get better with the abstract stuff, practice makes perfect but it's such a mess.
Let me know your thoughts!
Happy Monday :)

Sunday Funday

What's everyone up to today?
The weekend is coming to an end, but Fall Break is here!

I think I'm going to try to enjoy the last few days of warmth and relax outside. Maybe spend the day at the park.

Is it warm where you are today? Or has Fall hit your town? I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and your Fall Break as well :)
