Happy Hump Day! WebMDiva and I are back for week SIX of our linky kinky collab, #ShowMeYours. Each Wednesday at 12 a.m. EST. our link up will go live. (We'll run through the weekend until midnight on Sunday mornings.)

The rules? Well, rules were made to be broken. So we're going to keep it short and sweet.

1. Link up as many posts as you want. Promote your blog, your brand, your business, your giveaways, or even your own blog hops. No topic is off-limits. Who are we to judge?

2. While it's not required, please try to visit both hosts. Drop us a comment, throw us a tweet, or give us a follow. We're both some serious follow back girls.

3. Wanna be tweethearts? Tag us both, @webmdiva and @cmoundslclouds using the hashtag #ShowMeYours, along with the link to your post, and we'll both kindly retweet you.

4. Again, while it's not the law, please try to visit other blogs. After all, you get what you give! Plus you could meet other really cool people like us. ;)

5. We'd love for you to follow our new Pinterest board, where we'll be pinning some of our favorite #ShowMeYours link up posts.

6. Spread the love by sharing our link up in any way you see fit. The more exposure our link up gets, the more exposure you'll get.

Oh yeah, we have a cute BUTTon. Grab it if you'd like. (See what we did there?) Or don't. Either way.

The Greatest Valentines Day Pick-Up Lines

Valentine's is the cheesiest holiday in my opinion. Like shouldn't you love your significant other and show them that all the time?!

Or for the single people, what the fuck are they supposed to do? Eat ice cream & wallow in their single sorrow?
No, my friends. You're going to go out there and find the pretty/handsome, lady/fella and drop these sweet, sweet lines.

Your success rate is guaranteed.

And my personal favorite:

These are killer, right? Enjoy V-Day!
& remember, if these fail you, there is always a fallback plan.

Kids Are Just Really Weird

Those fuckin' hooligans again. If you hear a loud noise, or even silence, you know that you're probably in trouble. Children will NEVER run out of weird things to keep them entertained. I promise. There is no break.

Not your traditional face painting. But hey kid, do you. I would probably die of laughter if I had to paint her face. Bwahaha.

Not sure if they thought this was funny or she just wanted to keep him in line. Smart girl! Why aren't more of them catching on?

Who in the fuck would waste ice cream and put it up their nose? A child, that's who.

Odd. But I wish my pool guy would wear a Transformers mask too. Spice things up.

That stage in their life when they're trying to find their inner Britney Spears.

It's really sweet he's feeding his younger sibling. What's up with the mask? New identity? Of course.

Damn. That almost looks too comfortable. Weirdo.

Not sure if this one is weird or living everyone's dream. He made his shitter his home office AND dinner table.

Last but not least. To go along with their extremely odd behavior, they have a fashion sense to match. Whether they're rocking rain boots & a diaper or a pink poncho and a cowboy hat, they will definitely not be in the next issue of Vogue.

& those are just a few reasons why children are the absolute weirdest creatures to roam the Earth. I find its the most troublesome in their toddler years. But you know, I guess people go their whole lives being weird too.

Yeezus Brand Vs Your Own Scissors

Unless you live under a rock, you probably know who Kanye West is.

'Ye has been dropping music since 2004. Whether you're a fan or not, he is a topic of convo for every news outlet. Instead of getting into detail about the artist himself, I want to talk a little about his fashion line.

Every celebrity is rocking his shit. From shoes to ridiculously over-priced tees. & unless you can afford to drop $500 on a shirt, it's time to get creative.

I'm not sure why distressed clothing is so trendy right now. But I've hopped on the bandwagon. Everyone wears holes in their jeans. And now, it's cool to have a shirt that looks like it made it out of World War 2.

Guys. I'm not even shitting you. People actually pay good money for this. $500. For that. ------>

I'm not hatin' on you Kanye. You're killin' it in the fashion industry.

But I'll be damned if I'm not about to take a pair of scissors and do this myself.

If you've been on the fence about this trend, take an old shirt and just fuck it up. What could go wrong?

I guess it's the idea of looking like you don't care. If that's the case, count me in.

I distress my own jeans, so I thought I'd try this out. If you can get a t-shirt from a thrift store for $3 and make it look like it came fresh from a Yeezy store, why wouldn't you? Don't be a label whore. Although, I'm sure Mr. West would appreciate it.

I don't feel the need to give a step-by-step tutorial. There's a million on YouTube already. Shout out to you savvy fuckers. Use scissors & a razor. Go crazy on that shirt & the outcome may surprise you.

If you do it right, you may be able to tell everyone it's from Yeezy Season 4 & you totally paid $500 for it.

2 Minute Coffee Cake in a Mug

I'm all about quick recipes that require little to no effort. I'm trying to drop about 30 pounds, but, coffee cake is my favorite. So I'll cheat just this once.

Okay, maybe twice.

2 Minute Coffee Cake in a Mug

What You'll Need:
(2) tbsp Butter
(2) tbsp Sugar
(2) tbsp Applesauce
(3) drops Vanilla Extract
(3/8) cup Flour
(1/8) tsp Baking Powder
(1) pinch of Salt
(1) tbsp Brown Sugar
(1/4) tsp Cinnamon

What to Do:

  • In a mug soften 1 tbsp of butter in microwave, about 5 seconds. You don’t want it melted, just soft. Stir in 2 tbsp of sugar and mix until well incorporated. Stir in applesauce, vanilla (just a few drops), flour, baking powder, and pinch of salt. Use the back of your spoon to smooth it out in the bottom of the mug.
  • In a separate, small bowl, combine 1 tbsp of butter, 2 tbsp of flour, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, and ¼ tsp cinnamon. Use your fingers to to pinch the butter and mix it in with the other ingredients. When it starts to look like lumpy sand and all ingredients are combined, pour on top of cake batter in mug.
  • Cook in the microwave for 50-80 seconds depending on your microwave. At 1 minute, my microwave cooks it perfectly. It will look just barely set on top. You don’t want to overcook it and things tend to get ugly fast in the microwave. Eat white it’s still warm. YUM

    Why Every Mom Says F*ck

We're all guilty of it. Slipping that lovely 'F' bomb. Some more than others. Nonetheless, it gets dropped. By accident and on purpose.

    Especially....

    When you're a parent.

I always thought before I had my child that I would really tone down my language and watch my mouth to be a good example.
    & I am. Sort of.

I pictured myself as Betty Crocker, baking everything on God's green Earth & tucking the sweet babies in at 7 PM. A Mother Teresa if you will.

How naive of me. After getting left-hooked in the face by motherhood, the picture I previously painted became the lifelong laugh of my days.
    This looks more like it:

    Or maybe this:

As long as none of you are like this:

    I f*cking hate Farrah. Lol.

I love being a mama. It just comes with situations that have me like, F*ckkkk.

I've always had "curse" words in my almost everyday speech. I try not to write on my blog this way too much, I know some are too sensitive for it.
    But f*ck 'em.

    F*ck

What a universal word. You can throw it in any sentence, you know? I think it's odd if you don't occasionally use it. It's a stress reliever. Go ahead, it just feels good. Just because I'm a mom doesn't mean I can't say it.

    F*ck yeah Martha, I totally f*cking agree.

Here are some prime times when moms say this wonderful word, or secretly want to say it.
    • The kid(s) just broke something.
    • You just broke something.
    • You forgot to grab something.
    • The wine spilled. (Holy f*ck)
    • School functions.
    • The sink is full.
    • It's cold outside.
    • Lipstick smeared.
    • Out of milk.
    • You drop something.
    •  The food is burnt.
    • Coffee got cold.
    • There's a mess.
    • There's not a mess.
    • On your birthday.
    • Not on your birthday.
    You get my point.

Like I said, it's a stress reliever. Being a parent is one of those things where that "frowned upon" word is completely acceptable to use. It was probably my first spoken word, and I turned out pretty okay, right?

When do you use this sentence enhancer? :)

For those with the curse word sensitivity, not to worry. I usually try to filter my posts. But I know I'm not the only one here!

    Thanks for reading!
