Yeezus Brand Vs Your Own Scissors

Unless you live under a rock, you probably know who Kanye West is.

'Ye has been dropping music since 2004. Whether you're a fan or not, he is a topic of convo for every news outlet. Instead of getting into detail about the artist himself, I want to talk a little about his fashion line.

Every celebrity is rocking his shit. From shoes to ridiculously over-priced tees. & unless you can afford to drop $500 on a shirt, it's time to get creative.

I'm not sure why distressed clothing is so trendy right now. But I've hopped on the bandwagon. Everyone wears holes in their jeans. And now, it's cool to have a shirt that looks like it made it out of World War 2.

Guys. I'm not even shitting you. People actually pay good money for this. $500. For that. ------>

I'm not hatin' on you Kanye. You're killin' it in the fashion industry.

But I'll be damned if I'm not about to take a pair of scissors and do this myself.

If you've been on the fence about this trend, take an old shirt and just fuck it up. What could go wrong?

I guess it's the idea of looking like you don't care. If that's the case, count me in.

I distress my own jeans, so I thought I'd try this out. If you can get a t-shirt from a thrift store for $3 and make it look like it came fresh from a Yeezy store, why wouldn't you? Don't be a label whore. Although, I'm sure Mr. West would appreciate it.

I don't feel the need to give a step-by-step tutorial. There's a million on YouTube already. Shout out to you savvy fuckers. Use scissors & a razor. Go crazy on that shirt & the outcome may surprise you.

If you do it right, you may be able to tell everyone it's from Yeezy Season 4 & you totally paid $500 for it.

Store Your Makeup the Right Way

If you splurge on your face paint, this post is for you. Take care of your things or you'll cry.
Everyone needs a crafty way to store their makeup. Knocking your mascara into the sink or your lipstick onto the floor is just unacceptable, you know?
Don't lose your foundation in the messy basket you put your cosmetics in by the sink & mirror.

Noooo. Your poor brushes.

That makeup bag you've had for years... It's time to ditch it. Don't you hate when you open it to grab something and everything spills? Or a powder has broken and spills out everywhere? Ugh. Tragic.

THIS...

 LEADS TO THIS...

There is a better (& inexpensive) way.

Buy some mason jars. Paint them. Add glitter. Whatever your style may be, keep your sh*t organized.

I love DIY projects. I found this really cute way to glam up your makeup jar on pinterest & I already made three!

Adorable! How do you store your goods? :)
